8 Great Foamy Cocktail Recipes (+How to Add Foam to Any Cocktail)

Rebecca Connors December 9, 2019

The recipes included here are our tried-and-true favorites for creating a perfect canvas to print your Ripples designs.

You can add foam (and then Ripples creations!) to almost any cocktail using one of the ingredients or tools below.

Let’s get bubbly, shall we?

Add just one of these to any cocktail to create perfectly printable foam:

  • Fresh egg white (not egg replacer) (Some of the recipes do not need eggs)
  • Chickpea water, aka: aquafaba (vegan option)
  • Foam agents (such as Ms. Better’s Bitters or Wonderfoam)
  • Whipping siphon (such as Isi Whipper)

Preparing Foamy Cocktails for Printing

Instructions:

  • Add all ingredients to cocktail shaker (no ice).
  • Dry shake for 20 seconds.
  • Now add ice and ice shake.
  • Shake vigorously for 40 seconds.
  • Pour into glass using fine strainer.
  • Fill glass to top and place on Ripple Maker.

With the rise of visually appealing and innovative alcohol advertisements, bars and restaurants can attract more customers by featuring creative foamy cocktails.

*If you’re using a larger glass, keep recipe proportions

Confession: this is just regular eggnog with a dog printed on it because we wanted an excuse to use this name for a cocktail! Also, eggnog and single serving don’t go together, so here’s one of our favorite eggnog recipes from over at Delish.com that yields about 4-5 cups.

Check out this video for how to transform a few classic cocktails for the holidays by decorating them with festive Ripples designs.
